~ I'd say there is, even before High School and Middle School, I've really been interested in technology. I've wanted to build & create new things for people. One of the main things I want to do is to be an Architect, which will require knowledge of Engineering.
~ I also have an interest in automobiles, not just the look of course, but how the vehicle is designed and the work that goes into it. All of the things under the hood that power it.
The first video I watched was a 2,000 year old computer recreation.
http://www.engineering.com/Videos/VideoPlayer/tabid/4627/VideoId/2160/2000-Year-Old-Computer-Recreated.aspx
It is an ancient computer that was recreated and London, it has to be cranked by hand at every moment for it to work. It also has ancient symbols on parts of it that are believed to be Greek.
The second video was about TCL's 3D TV without glasses.
http://www.engineering.com/Videos/VideoPlayer/tabid/4627/VideoId/2124/TCLs-3D-TV-Without-The-Glasses.aspx
The TV is actually created with the same material used to get the 3D effect with 3D glasses, it is built into the TV. This allows for no need of glasses. The 3D experience will also be able to be seen from almost any angle.
Lastly, the third video is about the new Volkswagen L1 Concept Car.

It is claimed to be the most efficient car to ever be created, and can go 170 miles per gallon. It is slated for release around 2013.
At the Bureau of Labor and Statistics: http://www.bls.gov/k12/ it provided some good insight and information on possible jobs that we may seek.
It was helpful and showed me extra things to know about Architecture.
After searching for Roller Coaster Engineering, my result was Mechanical Engineering as a top choice. Which is right, because that's one of my chosen fields.
I also searched for Architecture and my top choice was Architect, Except Landscape and Naval. Although I would like to do landscape architecture as well.
The articles that I read were: A Bright Future and High Ambitions
The most interesting one was High Ambitions as it showed a project that has never been attempted before and would seem to be near impossible. But, it showed that there are many things to be done in Architecture that have not been done yet.
